Information Collected
Christianster collects information in a variety of ways from different parts of the Service. Some information is gathered when you register. While only this information is required to use the Service, the more information that you provide and the more accurate it is, the better we are able to customize your experience. In addition, when the service is used, we retain your IP address for some period of time.
From time to time, we may ask you for personal information, including (but not limited to) when you enter a contest or promotion sponsored by Christianster. If you contact Christianster, we may keep a record of that correspondence. Christianster also may ask users to complete surveys that we use for research purposes. All other information gathered is optional and is used to publish your member profile for other members of your community to know more about you, and to better target the advertising to your interests.

Please be aware that Christianster advertisers or web sites that have links on our site may collect personally identifiable information about you. The information practices of those web sites are not covered by this privacy statement. In addition, other Christianster members may also be able to access certain information that you provide when you post in forums. Christianster is not in a position to monitor or control any particular forum or members’ use of that content.

Christianster does not sell or rent user information to anyone. Your account information is password protected so that only you have access to this personal information. However, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, Christianster cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or from our online products or services, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we make our best efforts to ensure its security on our systems.
Please note that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information online, including in your correspondence within your individual forums, that information can be collected and used by others. In short, if you disclose personal information online that is accessible to others, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return.
Your Choices
Christianster may, from time to time, send you email regarding our products and services. If you do not wish to receive these mailings, simply reply to the email sent to you with the subject UNSUBSCRIBE to prevent receiving such mailings in the future.
By modifying your browser preferences, you have the choice to accept all cookies, to be notified when a cookie is set or to reject all cookies. If you choose to reject all cookies, you will be unable to use the Christianster service.
Christianster does not sell or rent user information to anyone. We will notify you at the time of data collection or transfer if your data will be shared with a third party and you will always have the option of not permitting the transfer. If you do not wish to allow your data to be shared, you can choose not to use a particular service or not to participate in certain promotions or contests. You may change any or all of your information by editing your user info (you must sign in first). If you have forgotten your password, you may request a new password. You can choose to have your account closed and deleted entirely by using the “Contact Us” link with the purpose “Delete My Account” chosen in the drop down box. Please make sure that you are currently logged in to the account that you wish to delete when you use the form to verify that you are indeed the account owner.
