1. What is Christianster about?
Christianster is a site made by simple christians for the benefit of fellow Christians. Christianster is about people, not about doctrines, agendas or denominations. We feel it is important as Christians that we surround ourselves with Christian friends who can help us walk the narrow path that leads to Life. By keeping in touch with each other, receiving mutual support and encouragement, praying for and caring for one another’s burdens, we hope to be sanctified from worldly influences that grieve our spirits. As the saying goes, “Tell me who your friends are, and I’ll tell you who you are.” There are a lot of sites on the web for making new friends, but very few, if any, that facilitates the forming of friendships rooted and grounded on the foundation of Christan faith and love. This site is not about individual popularity or about how many friends one has. The focus here is only the popularity of one person – Jesus Christ. He is the center of all our relationships. Through Christianster, we hope to nurture a place on the web where Christ’s Name is exalted, Christ’s message is propagated and Christ’s love is put into action.
2. How exactly do I go about using Christianster?
First thing you need to do after you signup is invite your friends to join your private connections network. Once they’re on board, you can start writing testimonials about each other. You can also create a group or join a group by going to the Groups page. New groups are being added everyday. On a daily basis, if you’ve experienced anything of the Lord or received enligthenment from something you’ve read, write it down in your Sharings journal so other people can be blessed by it. You can set access levels as to who can view that particular day’s entry. Feel a burden for something or somebody? Post it in the prayer request section. Please pray also for the saints who are in need. Need advice? Post it in the Advice section. On a weekly basis, if you like to get together with friends or simply would like to make new friends, post an event in the Events page. You can designate the event as either private or public which restricts who is allowed to join the event.
3. How does Christianster protect my privacy?
Christianster allows you to set two privacy levels as to who can view your profile. Highest privacy level is you can set it such that only your direct connections (friends) can view your profile. Lowest privacy level is all Christianster members can view your profile. You can modify your privacy levels anytime.

Yes, Christianster is an entirely FREE service.
5. What are Connections and what does it mean to be connected?
Connections are your circle of friends and people who have an interest in becoming your friend or vice-versa. By being in each other’s Connections list, you can send private messages and write testimonials of each other.
6. How do I create a connection with somebody?
If you wish to include in your Christianster connections a friend who is not yet a member of Christianster, you can send an email invitation through this form. Once your friend signs up, you will automatically be added to each other’s Connections List. If you wish to connect to somebody who’s already a member of Christianster, you can use the same form to request a connection. An approval request will then be sent to the person for confirmation after which once he/she approves it, you will added to each other’s Connections List. If you go to your Mail, you should be able to write him/her a private message.
7. What is your statement of faith?
We hold on to the Nicene Creed formulated in A.D. 325.
“We believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father. Through Him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven; by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary and was made man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son he is worshipped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one holy universal and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.”
